Picnic in the Park

Summer is here again – and to celebrate we will be having a picnic in the park

Our first ever meet was in Petworth Park – while the kids played with bats and balls, investigated the trees and other activities, the parents got the chance to chat about their issues and to discuss what we wanted to get out of the group.
Nearly everyone who came to the initial meet has stayed a long term member, possibly because it gave us all the time to get to know each other a little. So we thought it would be a good idea to do the same thing again, to give new families the chance to come along and have a chat, play some games with the kids and relax in fantastic surroundings!

If you would like to join us just turn up on Sat 20th June at about 1pm. Weather permitting we will be in the park until about 4.30.

Bring enough food for yourselves, to add to the communal picnic!

The meet is FREE! (although there may be a small charge for parking for non National Trust members)

We will bring some games and activities for the children but feel free to bring games of you own.

Park in the car park just over 1 mile north of Petworth on the A283 - we will meet at the edge of the trees about 100m south of the car park.

If you think you are coming please drop a line to bookings@wsxnagc.org.uk

- but please feel free to come at the last minute if you get the chance! –
