Chinese Culture Day

To celebrate the Chinese new year we held a Chinese Culture Day.  We had a guest speaker from the Brighton and Hove Chinese Centre to talk to the children and teach them some language.

We also ran a Chinese craft group so that the children could be split into two age groups.

The language group learned about how China celebrates the new year as well as a few words in Chinese and a song.

The craft group had the chance to make paper dragons, jam jar lanterns and do some colouring.
